memo to IAEA: thats what happens when you don't matter

Who does state think its talking too. Complaining is the full extent of U.N. force. Strongly worded complaints and condemnation.
"IAEA Director General Mohamed ElBaradei's complaint that the U.S. did not give his organization intelligence information sooner on what Washington says was a nuclear reactor in Syria being built secretly by North Korea. ... ElBaradei's also chastised Israel for bombing the site seven months ago, in a statement whose strong language reflected anger at being kept out of the picture for so long."

Precisely why should anyone bother to tell the IAEA and the UN anything? Sanctions weren't going to destroy the Box on the Euphrates. Why use diplomats when kinetic energy works?


Being ignored is the consequence of being inconsequential.
